Darlene Anita Scott’s scholarship and creative work explore the corporeal performance of trauma and the violence of silence. For her creative work, she has received grants from the Virginia Commission of the Arts, the Delaware Division of the Arts, and the Tennessee Arts Commission. Her art and poetry have appeared in journals including the Baltimore Review, Hot Metal Bridge, and j Journal: New Writing on Justice among others. scott lives and teaches in Richmond Virginia.
